MEET LISA McENTIRE
Lisa McEntire is a proud lifelong Texan, committed to fighting for our conservative values in the Texas House. A seasoned local realtor, community advocate, and fiscal conservative, Lisa is running to represent Texas House District 64 to fight back against skyrocketing property taxes, champion public safety, ensure fair and accountable property appraisals, and protect our constitutional rights.

Born and raised in Canadian, Texas, Lisa comes from a family rooted in the hardworking values of ranching, farming, and the oil industry. After graduating high school in 1985, she moved to Denton and earned her degree from the University of North Texas in 1989. She and her husband have lived in the North Texas region ever since, raising their family and building deep roots in the community.

With nearly two decades of experience as a realtor, Lisa understands firsthand the burden that unfair appraisals and rising taxes place on Texas families. She has served as President of the Greater Denton/Wise County Association of REALTORS® and currently serves as a director for Texas REALTORS®, where she has been a key voice on the Taxation Committee, helping shape legislative proposals to fight tax hikes and protect property rights.​
Lisa is a tireless advocate for accountability and transparency. She currently serves on the Denton Central Appraisal District Board of Directors, where she is working to bring more fairness and oversight to the appraisal process. In addition to her service with Texas REALTORS®, Lisa also serves as a Federal Political Coordinator, providing critical insight from the real estate and homeowner perspective to national leaders in Washington.

Lisa’s community service includes the Krum Economic Development Committee, Krum Lion’s Club, and years of grassroots engagement across Denton County.

She and her husband have two children, a daughter working in the dental industry in Tennessee and a son who is a pilot for Southwest Airlines and owns a construction business in Ponder. Lisa is a proud grandmother of three and knows the importance of protecting and securing the future for the next generation.
